Abstract:
The present invention achieves encoding processing in which a compression rate suitable for image recognition processing is reflected. An image processing system according to the present invention comprises: a generation unit that executes image recognition processing with respect to first image data acquired during a first time, thereby generating information indicating a feature portion having an influence on the image recognition processing; a prediction unit that, on the basis of the information indicating the feature portion present during the first time, predicts information indicating the feature portion present during a second time later than the first time; and an encoding unit that, by use of a compression rate based on the predicted information indicating the feature portion, encodes second image data acquired during the second time.
