Abstract:
An image-reading device (100) is provided with an image-reading unit (121), a storage unit (140), a download processing unit (112), an electronic mail transmission unit (111), and an operation display unit (130). The image-reading unit (121) reads a image on a document and generates image data that represents the read image. The download processing unit (112) stores the image data in the storage unit (140) and executes a process for downloading the stored image data in accordance with a download request. The electronic mail transmission unit (111) generates an electronic mail and transmits the electronic mail. The operation display unit (130) displays a setting screen image on which at least one download destination of the image data is set. The electronic mail includes previously defined data that is used for download requests.
