Abstract:
An image reading device (1) is provided with: a left-hand side holding member (14) on which a left-hand side holding surface (16) facing a booklet mounting surface (31) is formed; a right-hand side holding member (15) on which a right-hand side holding surface (17) facing the booklet mounting surface (31) is formed; an imaging unit (21) which is disposed so as to face the booklet mounting surface (31), and captures an image of a predetermined page (62) of a booklet (61) mounted on the booklet mounting surface (31); and a guiding member (4) which is disposed on the front side of the left-hand side holding member (14) and the right-hand side holding member (15). On the guiding member (4), a guiding surface (11) which connects with the left-hand side holding surface (16) and the right-hand side holding surface (17) is formed. The guiding member (4) is slantingly disposed such that a distance from the booklet mounting surface (31) to a back-side end of the guiding surface (11) becomes smaller than a distance from the booklet mounting surface (31) to a front-side end of the guiding surface (11).
