Abstract:
In the present invention, an image formation device (10) comprises: a display unit (41); an image reading unit (11) that reads an image of a manuscript; a network communication unit (45) that performs data communications through a network; and a control part (51) that recognizes text contained in the manuscript image read by the image reading unit (11), extracts and selects from the recognized text a character string satisfying a preset selection condition, uses the selected character string as a search condition to acquire search results from a search engine, and causes the display unit (41) to display the search results.
