Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide an image recognition method and an electronic device. The method comprises: an electronic device calls a first camera to acquire first image data, wherein the first camera comprises a first sensor, the first sensor comprises a first image-sensitive unit array, the number of image-sensitive units in the first image-sensitive unit array is smaller than or equal to 40000, the color depth of image data output by the first sensor is a first color depth, and the first color depth is smaller than 8 bits. By implementing the embodiments of the present application, the security of user information can be improved.
