Abstract:
An image streaming method and device for streaming point cloud-based content are disclosed. A point cloud image streaming method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises the steps of: receiving pose information from a user terminal; applying the pose information to a virtual camera in a virtual space in which a point cloud image is reproduced, to change the pose of the virtual camera; rendering an image texture of the point cloud image corresponding to a point of view of the virtual camera, the pose of which has been changed; and transmitting image data obtained by rendering the image texture to the user terminal.
