The present application relates to the technical field of image processing, and provides an image toning method and apparatus and a storage medium. The method comprises: receiving a trigger signal acting on an original image; after the trigger signal is received, segmenting the original image by means of an interactive segmentation algorithm to obtain a binary segmentation image; segmenting the original image by means of a superpixel segmentation algorithm to obtain a superpixel segmentation image; determining a region of interest according to the binary segmentation image and the superpixel segmentation image; toning the region of interest to obtain a region-of-interest toning image; and generating a toned target image according to the region-of-interest toning image and the original image. The present application solves the problem in the prior art of low toning efficiency during local toning, and achieves the effects of automatically determining a region of interest according to two segmentation algorithms, automatically performing image fusion, avoiding manual operation of a user, and improving the toning efficiency.
