Abstract:

In order to improve security while a vehicle is parked, an image transmission device (100) for vehicle-mounted use is provided with: an inspection unit (184) which inspects the possibility of communication with an external device outside a vehicle in a place where the vehicle is parked, that is to say, whether the transmission of an image to the outside from the place where the vehicle is parked is possible or not; a report unit (185) which reports report information based on the result of the inspection by the inspection unit (184); an image capturing unit (181) which captures an image while the vehicle is parked; and a transmission unit (183) which transmits the image captured by the image capturing unit (181) to the external device.
