Abstract:
[Purpose] To suppress that difference in brightness in a captured image which is caused by difference in exposure start time by way of a rolling shutter even if exposure time periods are not changed. [Solution] To provide an imaging apparatus including a gain setting unit that, on the basis of diaphragm driving information regarding a diaphragm driving locus representing time sequence changes of diaphragm value, sets a gain for each of a plurality of lines in which a plurality of pixels are arranged in an image sensor in which the plurality of pixels are two-dimensionally arranged in a matrix. This makes it possible to suppress that difference in brightness in a captured image which is caused by difference in exposure start time by way of a rolling shutter even if exposure time periods are not changed.
