Abstract:
An imaging apparatus and a recording method that remarkably improve the usability. Directories are made in accordance with selected ones of a plurality of sorts of preset imaging conditions. Image data obtained as results of imaging subjects are allocated to the directories associated with the selected imaging conditions. Identification information associated with the selected imaging conditions are added to the image data. Thereafter, the image data to which the identification information have been added are stored together with an application program representative of one or more designated applications in such a manner that the image data are associated with the one or more designated applications.
