Abstract:
This imaging assistance device is used in a radiography device having a radiation source and a radiographic image detector that detects a radiographic image of a subject on the basis of radiation that was radiated from the radiation source and passed through the subject. Said imaging assistance device comprises an optical camera that outputs an optical image by optically capturing a region including a radiation field of the radiation radiated from the radiation source onto the subject, and at least one processor, wherein the processor uses a learned model, which has learned the relationship between the optical image captured during radiography and whether it is necessary to recapture the radiographic image that was captured during radiography, to execute a determining process before starting radiography, said determining process being for determining, on the basis of the optical image acquired by the optical camera, whether recapturing is possible in a case when radiography has been performed.
