Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an imaging device and electronic equipment that can image a momentary movement desired by a user among movements of a subject. A CIS (2), which is an example of an imaging device according to the present disclosure, has an imaging unit (5), a memory (6), a detection unit (83), and a determination unit (84). The imaging unit (5) sequentially and continuously captures images of the subject to generate imaging data. The memory (6) stores the imaging data. The detection unit (83) detects the movement of the subject on the basis of the imaging data. The determination unit (84) determines, as imaging data to be stored in the memory, the imaging data in which the movement of the subject in a direction coinciding with a movement direction of the subject predicted on the basis of the imaging data is detected by the detection unit.
