An imaging device (100) comprising an imaging element (101b), a display device (114) including, within a finder loupe field of view (30), an image display area (33) for rendering a recorded image within a rendering area (31), and an image display outer area (35) which is outside the image display area (33), and a display controller (105a) which controls the display device (114) to render a boundary display (36) in the rendering area (31), wherein at least one side among four sides of the recorded image is in contact with any of four sides of the rendering area (31).
