Abstract:
Provided are: an imaging device that allows a user to simulate imaging at a distant location without the user leaving their current location; an image search method for the imaging device; and an image search program for the imaging device. An imaging location is set with a digital camera (1). The imaging direction, the imaging orientation, and the imaging height of the digital camera (1) are acquired as imaging information. A request is issued to an external search server (110) to perform a search of images captured within a given range from the set imaging location and having imaging information similar to the acquired imaging information. The search results are acquired from the search server (110) and displayed on a liquid crystal monitor.
