Abstract:
Provided is an imaging device such that discomfort is not felt resulting from differences in distortion even when switching between an OVF image and an EVF image. The imaging device is provided with: a first optical system that combines an optical system from an imaging lens to an imaging element at which a subject image is formed and an optical system from a display device at which an electronic image of the subject, which is the image formed at the imaging element, is displayed to the eye-contacting section of a finder; a second optical system that leads the optical image of the subject to the eye-contacting section; and a correction means that, on the basis of distortion information pertaining to the first optical system and distortion information pertaining to the second optical system, performs distortion correction whereby the same distortion arises in the electronic image of the subject as the optical distortion in the second optical system, and the result is displayed at the display device.
