Abstract:
The present invention relates to an imaging device, an imaging method and a program that enable the acquisition of an image of a quality that the user desires. This imaging device sets a first region, which includes a first specific part of a subject, as a focusing region for focusing. Moreover, if the first specific part was not detected, the image capturing device sets, as a focusing region, a second region which includes a second specific part of the subject, the second specific part being of the same type as the first specific part. This technology can be applied to imaging devices.
