Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an imaging device such that phase-difference detection performance is improved while increased memory usage and the degradation of image quality are prevented. Phase-difference pixels (LF/RI) are arranged at positions corresponding to first color filters (G filter) for imaging pixels, and phase-difference pixels (TP/BT) are arranged at positions corresponding to second color filters (B filter) for imaging pixels different from the first color filters. When reading mixed output of imaging pixels corresponding to the first color filters (Yes, in S51), a plurality of pixel signals including the output from a phase-difference pixel (LF/RF) are mixed and read out as a first mixed pixel output. When reading the output of mixing imaging pixels corresponding to the second color filters (No, in S51), a plurality of pixel signals excluding the output from a phase-difference pixel (TP/BT) are mixed and read out as a second mixed pixel output. The output value of the first mixed pixel output is corrected (S55), while the output value of the second mixed pixel output is not corrected.
