Abstract:
F-drop correction is performed with good precision without using F-drop characteristic data. Correction gain in accordance with zoom position information and aperture value information from a lens is derived with calculation. In this process, the correction gain is derived using a parameter for approximating the F-drop characteristics of the lens. The correction gain is applied to an imaging signal from an image sensor and the F-drop is corrected.
