Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an imaging device, an imaging operation device, and a control method that enable better imaging. A counterforce-generating unit generates counterforce with respect to an operation direction of an operation unit, and a control unit sets the counterforce on the basis of imaging-associated information at the time the operation unit operates. The operation unit issues directions for the image capture device to begin image capture. A position detection unit detects the amount to which the operation unit operates in the operation direction, and the control unit sets the counterforce in response to said operation amount. The present disclosure can be applied, for example, to imaging devices such as single-lens reflex cameras and compact cameras.
