This imaging device comprises: an optical system that has a first optical filter which has a plurality of first transmitted wavelength bands; an image sensor that receives light which has passed through the optical system; and a first processor that outputs second image data for each first transmitted wavelength band by performing calculation processing with respect to first image data which has been output from the image sensor. The first optical filter has optical properties such that a first output value that is output for each spectral sensitivity band from specific pixels of the image sensor is less than the maximum value of a second output value that is output for each spectral sensitivity band from the specific pixels when transmittance is the same for each first transmitted wavelength band, but greater than or equal to the minimum value of the second output value. The optical properties differ in transmittance, width, or transmittance distribution for each first transmitted wavelength band.
