Abstract:
An imaging device such as a camera for a portable telephone and, more particularly, a three-axis lens movement mechanism that can be reduced in size and cost by using less number of parts and a simple construction. An imaging device mounted with the three-axis lens movement mechanism is also provided. A single magnetic circuit exerts influence of a magnetic field of a magnet (20) on an effective side of a focus coil (14) and on effective sides of coils (10a, 10b). This enables movable sections (11+17) to be driven to an optical axis direction (Z) only by the control of the direction of conduction to the focus coil (14), and additionally enables a first movable section (11) to be driven in a first direction (X) or a second direction (pivot direction)(Y) only by the combination of directions of electric power supply to the coils (10a, 10b). As a result, the magnetic circuit and an electromagnetic actuators can be shared.
