Abstract:
An imaging device (10), in which a heater (30) heats a cover glass (24) from the outer-circumference side. A first heating area (36) and a second heating area (38) are provided on the upper side and the lower side of the heater (30), respectively, the heat generation density of the first heating area (36) being set so as to be greater than the heat generation density of the second heating area (38). Therefore, it is possible to suppress water droplets from remaining in the central portion of the cover glass (24) and in a portion above the center, and to suppress the water droplets from being disposed in the central portion of the cover glass (24), when the cover glass (24) is defrosted.
