Abstract:
An imaging device comprises: a first case; a second case connected to the first case; a substrate housed in an internal space defined by the first case and the second case with an electronic component mounted on the substrate; a lens barrel for holding a lens while being supported by the first case or the second case; and a waterproof seal held in a waterproof seal holding space defined between the first case and the second case. The first case includes a first surface substantially perpendicular to the optical axis, a second surface substantially parallel to the optical axis, and an internal surface extending from the first surface toward the optical axis. The first surface and the second surface define the waterproof seal holding space, and the internal surface faces the end of the substrate. The second case includes a third surface substantially perpendicular to the optical axis and a fourth surface substantially parallel to the optical axis. The third surface and the fourth surface define the waterproof seal holding space.
