Abstract:
The present invention realizes an imaging device capable of emitting light of an appropriate intensity when imaging. A portable information terminal comprises an imaging unit that images a user, a light source that emits illumination light onto the user, an optical intensity sensor that measures the intensity of ambient light around the user, and an illumination light intensity control unit that controls the intensity of the illumination light on the basis of the intensity of the ambient light measured by the optical intensity sensor, wherein the optical intensity sensor is provided on a surface opposite to a surface on which the imaging unit is provided.
