Abstract:
This imaging device comprises: a semiconductor substrate; a plurality of pixel electrodes located above the semiconductor substrate, each being electrically connected to the semiconductor substrate; a counter electrode located above the plurality of pixel electrodes; a first photoelectric conversion layer located between the plurality of pixel electrodes and the counter electrode; and at least one first light blocking body located within the first photoelectric conversion layer or above the first photoelectric conversion layer. The first photoelectric conversion layer comprises semiconductor quantum dots which absorb light of a first wavelength range, and a coating material which coats the semiconductor quantum dots, absorbs light of a second wavelength range, and emit fluorescence of a third wavelength range. The at least one first light blocking body absorbs or reflects light of at least some of the wavelengths in the second wavelength range.
