Abstract:
This imaging element is provided with: first pixels, which comprise a first photoelectric conversion unit that photoelectrically converts incident light and a first reflective unit that reflects light transmitted through the first photoelectric conversion unit back to the first photoelectric conversion unit; and second pixels, which comprise a second photoelectric conversion unit that photoelectrically converts incident light and a second reflective unit that reflects part of the light transmitted through the second photoelectric conversion unit back to the second photoelectric conversion unit.
