Abstract:
In an imaging illumination apparatus that illuminates an object to be imaged (10) by a camera (14) used for image recognition, a plurality of illumination blocks (21, 22, 23) that can individually be turned on for a charging unit (32) charged by a power source unit (31) are connected in parallel via switching elements (33, 34, 35). A control unit (24) that controls switching operations of the switching elements and an imaging operation of the camera changes continuous lighting time which is a pulse width of pulse lighting, and changes an imaging time of the camera, in accordance with the number of illumination blocks to be turned on simultaneously in a pulsed manner out of the plurality of illumination blocks.
