Abstract:
This imaging lens enables a smaller size, lower cost, wider angle, and higher performance, and also eliminates restrictions on the imaging element used. In order from the object side, an imaging lens (1) is provided with: a negative first lens (L1); a negative second lens (L2) having a biconcave shape; a third lens (L3) having a planoconvex shape with the convex surface facing the object side, or a positive meniscus shape with the convex surface facing the object side; and a fourth lens (L4) having a planoconvex shape with the convex surface facing the image side, or a positive meniscus shape with the convex surface facing the image side. The imaging lens (1) satisfies the following expression (11): 3.1 < R4/f, where R4 is the radius of curvature of the image-side surface of the second lens, and f is the focal length of the entire system.
