Abstract:
An imaging system (10) is provided with a control unit (15). The control unit (15) controls a mode that relates to imaging by an imaging device in accordance with orientation determination information that, from among a fixed state in which the imaging device and an information processing device are fixed to each other and a separated state in which the imaging device and the information processing device are separated from each other, indicates at least the orientation of the imaging device in the separated state. For example, when it is determined by a fixed/separated determination unit (91) of the imaging device (20) that the imaging device (20) and the information processing device (60) are in the separated state, the mode that relates to imaging by the imaging device (20) is controlled by a control unit (45) in accordance with the orientation determination information that indicates the orientation of the imaging device (20). When it is determined by a fixed/separated determination unit (91) of the information processing device (60) that the imaging device (20) and the information processing device (60) are in the separated state, the mode that relates to imaging by the imaging device (20) is controlled by a control unit (85) in accordance with the orientation determination information that indicates the orientation of the imaging device (20). It is thus possible to easily set the mode that relates to imaging.
