Abstract:
Disclosed is an imaging system capable of preventing reduction in image quality when synthesizing an image. The imaging system comprises a plurality of imaging devices (100a, b), a detecting means (107a, b), and a control computer (108). Each of the plurality of imaging devices (100a, b) is capable of capturing images independently, and the relative positional relationship thereof can be changed, each imaging device (100a, b) having a detector (104) which performs imaging operations for outputting image data corresponding to the radiation or light radiated, and a controller (106) which controls the operation of the detector (104), said detector (104) including a detecting unit (101) wherein a plurality of pixels having a conversion element (201) and a switch element (202) are arranged in a matrix, a drive circuit (102) which has a scanning direction which can be set bi-directionally and which drives the detecting unit (101), and a readout circuit (103). The detecting means (107a, b) obtains information related to the relative positional relationship of the plurality of imaging devices (100a, b). The control computer (108) transmits control signals that determine the operation of the imaging devices to the controllers (106). The control computer (108) determines the operation of the plurality of imaging devices (100a, b) using information obtained with the detecting means (107a, b).

Claims:
