Abstract:
This imaging unit 1 has an imaging element 2, a first substrate 4, and a second substrate 5 connected thereto in order from the distal end thereof, and includes: a cutout 7 that is provided in a side surface 4c of the first substrate 4 and penetrates from a distal end surface 4a to a base end surface 4b, the cutout being formed to have a smaller width dimension L2 of a second opening on the base end surface 4b side than a width dimension L1 of a first opening on the distal end surface 4a side; and a resin 10 that fills the cutout 7, a gap between the imaging element 2 and the first substrate 4, and a gap between the first substrate 4 and the second substrate 5.
