Title:
IMITATION OF INCRUSTATION, A DASHED ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAID IMITATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/067293
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
During conventional production of an incrustation, decorative irregular-shaped plates representing graphic symbols are fixed in mortises arranged at a low-depth from the surface of an article. The superficial layers are exposed to destruction by environment. For the inventive imitation, said elements are arranged more deeply. Said imitation comprises a laying of elements which is fixed in the material of a monolithic substrate. Said laying comprises pictorial (1, 6, 9) and spacing (5, 8) elements. Each element is provided with an support in the form of a prism. Each element has a head which is embodied in the form of a protrusion arranged on said support and provided with a face surface. The imitation surface consists of the face surfaces (2, 3, 7, 10) of the heads and of the surface sections of the monolithic substrate. The bases of all supports are laid on one plane, each support being adjacent by the side edges thereof to nearest supports. In the preferred embodiment, the supports are provided with through holes (12) and concave areas of the side surfaces (4, 11, 13) which provide with the substrate binding. The structure of the inventive dashed element is similar to the structure of the pictorial element whose face surface represents graphic symbols. The inventive method consists in composing a laying which is used as the layout of a picture. Said laying is arranged in a mould on a pallet and the substrate is produced by moulding.
