Abstract:
This impact detection malfunction prevention device for preventing malfunction at the time of impact detection in an impact detection device, comprises: an accident determination unit that determines whether or not an impact is caused by an accident, on the basis of information relating to the detected impact and a captured video; a number-of-times recording unit that, when it has been determined that the impact is not caused by an accident, records a position acquired at a time point when the impact has been detected and the number of times it has been determined that the impact is not caused by an accident at the position; a registration unit that, when the number of times regarding the recorded position has becomes not less than a predetermined number of times, registers the position as an impact detection malfunction position which is not subjected to impact detection occasion processing; and an impact detection malfunction prevention unit that does not allow the impact detection occasion processing unit to perform the impact detection occasion processing on the impact detection malfunction position.
