Abstract:
Provided is an impact work machine that is able to suppress movement of an end tool in a radial direction with respect to a holding tool. This impact work machine has: a tubular holding tool 23 that holds a held portion 86 of an end tool 83; and a striker that is movable in a direction of a center line A1 of the holding tool 23 and strikes the end tool 83 held by the holding tool 23. The holding tool 23 has: a first holding portion 73 that holds the held portion 86 in the state where the end tool 83 is strikable with the striker; and a second holding portion 74 that is disposed at a different position from the first holding portion 73 in the direction of the center line A1 and holds the held portion 86 in the state where the end tool 83 is not strikable with the striker; and a restriction portion 91 that comes into contact with the held portion 86 and restricts movement of the held portion 86 from the second holding portion 74 to the first holding portion 73. The restriction portion 91 rotates the held portion 86 around the center line A1, thereby allowing movement of the held portion 86 from the second holding portion 74 to the first holding portion 73.
