Abstract:
An implant (10) has an embedding part (12) inserted in a femur (F). A polymer layer (24) on which a high-molecular polymer having anti-adhesion properties with respect to the femur (F) is applied, and a polymer non-formation region (28) in a different position than the polymer layer (24) and in which the high-molecular polymer is not applied are provided on an external peripheral surface (12a) of the embedding part (12). Through this configuration, the embedding part (12) and bone tissue are securely bonded in the polymer non-formation region (28) in a state in which the implant (10) is implanted in the femur (F), and bonding of the embedding part (12) and the bone tissue is suppressed in the polymer layer (24).
