Abstract:
To provide, in confectionery impregnated with chocolate, confectionery impregnated with chocolate in which, chocolate sufficiently permeates the confectionery, and the co-existence of three elements, a "light mouthfeel (crisp mouthfeel)" true to confectionery, and the "flavour (chocolate sensation)" and "smooth melt-in-the-mouth sensation" true to chocolate is realized. The present invention is impregnated chocolate confectionery (10) in which chocolate (12) has been made to permeate convexoconcave wafers (11), which impregnated chocolate confectionery (10) is characterized in that the weight ratio of chocolate (12) in the total weight of the confectionery is from 77 to 85%. Hitherto unavailable, impregnated chocolate confectionery (10) with which the light mouthfeel true to confectionery and the flavour and melt-in-the-mouth qualities true to chocolate can be freely enjoyed can be provided.
