Abstract:
An impregnation type scandium oxide doped rhenium-tungsten multi-phase mixed based dispenser cathode and a preparation method, relating to the technical field of refractory metal cathodes. A cathode matrix is a porous body prepared by multi-phase alloy powder, which is formed by scandium oxide doped rhenium and tungsten, by means of a powder metallurgy method; and then, active salt is impregnated into the matrix and the cathode surface is post-treated to form a cathode having electron emission capability. The cathode prepared by the method has the characteristics of high emission current density and good repeatability, and is applicable to electric vacuum devices and electronic beam sources requiring high current density.
