Abstract:
Disclosed are an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) speech communication method, a wireless communication apparatus, and a communication system. The method comprises: receiving an evolved packet system (EPS) fallback indication message; switching from a first access network device supporting a fifth-generation mobile communication network to a second access network device supporting a fourth-generation mobile communication network, so as to perform IMS speech communication; and after the IMS speech communication is terminated, when a radio resource control connection release message is received, accessing the fifth-generation mobile communication network, wherein the radio resource control connection release message does not carry redirection carrier information. After receiving an EPS fallback indication message, a terminal falls back to a fourth-generation mobile communication network from a fifth-generation mobile communication network, then autonomously recognizes a scenario requiring an autonomous return, and autonomously returns to the fifth-generation mobile communication network in the scenario requiring the autonomous return.
