Abstract:
The handling of this in-vehicle battery system, which has two types of batteries including a lead-acid battery, is the same as a lead-acid battery module. A certain embodiment of the in-vehicle battery system (100) has a first power storage module (10), and a second power storage module (20) that is adjacent to the first power storage module. The first power storage module (10) has a lead-acid battery and a first housing (14) accommodating the lead-acid battery. The second power storage module (20) has a power storage unit, which has a higher energy density than the lead-acid battery, and a second housing (24) accommodating the power storage unit. The top surface (27) of the second housing (24) is formed by the same chemically-resistant material as the first housing (14).
