Abstract:
This in-vehicle charging device 1 or this vehicle exterior charging device 5 is composed of: a plurality of chargers 2 which are connected in parallel in a charging path from an AC power supply P to an in-vehicle battery B; a plurality of sensors 3 which detect the temperatures of the chargers 2; and a control unit 42, wherein the control unit 42 calculates temperature indexes respectively corresponding to the chargers 2 by using the temperatures detected by the sensors 3 and an operation time of the in-vehicle charging device 1 or the vehicle exterior charging device 5, while calculating, as an accumulated temperature index, an accumulated value of the temperature index for each operation of the in-vehicle charging device 1 or the vehicle exterior charging device 5, and also preferentially operates a charger 2 corresponding to the smallest accumulated temperature index over other chargers 2.
