Abstract:
An in-vehicle device according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises: an acquisition unit that acquires signal information representing the operation state of a traffic signal light at an intersection; and a control unit that performs processing to determine whether maintenance can be executed with respect to a vehicle. The determination processing includes: a process for calculating, on the basis of the signal information, the stop time of the vehicle due to waiting for the signal at the intersection; and a process for instructing execution of the maintenance if the stop time is at least an amount of time obtained by adding a margin to the required time for maintenance. The margin is a set value determined for each intersection.
