Abstract:
In this in-vehicle device, when determining that start of a prime mover of a vehicle is permitted and an instruction to start the prime mover is received, a control unit instructs an output unit to output starting data to provide an instruction to start the prime mover. Accordingly, the output unit outputs the starting data. When depression of a brake pedal of the vehicle is released, when a seat belt for the driver's seat of the vehicle is unbuckled, or when a person leaves the driver's seat, the control unit withdraws the permission to start the prime mover.
