Abstract:
The present invention provides an in-vehicle ECU installed onboard a vehicle, the in-vehicle ECU comprising a control unit that executes a plurality of applications and a verification unit that verifies each of the plurality of applications when the control unit executes the plurality of applications, wherein the control unit executes an application that has been positively verified by the verification unit, does not execute an application that has been negatively verified by the verification unit, and executes a failsafe process as a substitute for the negative application, and the failsafe process includes a process for specifying the negative application and outputting a substitute signal corresponding to the specified negative application.
