Title:
INDENOFLUORENEDIONE DERIVATIVE, MATERIAL FOR ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT, AND ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/064655
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An indenofluorenedione derivative having a structure represented by formula (I) (wherein Ar1 represents a fused ring having 6-24 nuclear carbon atoms, or the like; ar1 and ar2 represent formula (i) or/and formula (ii); and x1 and x2 each represents one of formulae (a)-(g)) has excellent heat resistance and can be deposited on a substrate at an adequate temperature.  Consequently, the indenofluorenedione derivative is useful as a material for an organic electroluminescent element.  An organic electroluminescent element, which comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an organic thin film layer that is arranged between the electrodes and contains the material for an organic electroluminescent element, has a low driving voltage and long life.
