Abstract:

The present disclosure provides index data storage and retrieval methods and apparatuses, and a storage medium. The data storage method comprises, during data (i.e. key value pairs) storage, sorting data according to the magnitude of value elements, and dividing a sorted data sequence into a plurality of segments, sorting key values for each segment, and sorting the data sequence in correspondence with the key values, realizing ordered storage of the value elements and the key values (also referred to as record numbers), thus constructing an entirely new index structure; in addition, a multi-condition retrieval method suitable for said index structure is provided, being able to indicate, for any interval-based query, a result set by means of a union set formed by one or more sets, most of these sets are ordered, and at most two sets in the boundary are unordered, thereby improving the efficiency of performing operations such as AND/OR/NOT during multi-condition query.
