Abstract:
This index tab forming system forms an index tab on a plurality of sheets in sequence without the need to replace a blade. The index tab forming system comprises a rotary die cutter 5 to which a long blade capable of forming an index tab at any position on a sheet in a transfer direction is attached. Further, the index tab forming system comprises: a rotation speed calculation unit for calculating the rotation speed of a transfer roller pair 37 on the basis of a rotational position of a die cut roller 50, a sheet position detection signal from a sheet detection sensor 40, the number of times of sheet transfer, and a shift width between index tabs; and a transfer roller control unit for controlling the rotation speed of the transfer roller pair 37 on the basis of the calculated rotation speed.
