Abstract:
Provided are an indication method and device. The method comprises: when a terminal is in an RRC idle state or an RRC inactive state, sending first indication information to a network side, wherein the first indication information is used for indicating that UL data of the terminal satisfies a first condition, and the first condition comprises one or a combination of a plurality of conditions as follows: the data amount of the UL data being greater than a first threshold; the data mount of the UL data being less than a second threshold; and the data amount of the UL data being greater than the first threshold, and the data amount of the UL data being less than the second threshold; and a DRB that triggers a UL data transmission process is configured by the network side.
