Provided is an individually packaged absorbent article, including a packaging sheet and an absorbent article that is individually packaged using the packaging sheet, wherein: the packaging sheet has a longitudinal direction and a horizontal direction that is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction; the packaging sheet is folded in the longitudinal direction; in each edge in the horizontal direction of the packaging sheet, a joining region is formed that extends in the longitudinal direction; the joining region includes a plurality of rows of joining sections formed by joining the packaging sheets to one another; the plurality of rows include an inner row that is disposed on the innermost side in the horizontal direction and includes a plurality of the joining sections separated in the longitudinal direction, and outer rows that are disposed on the outer side in the horizontal direction of the inner row; and the total length of the joining sections, per unit length, in the longitudinal direction in the inner row is less than the total length of the joining sections, per unit length, in the longitudinal direction in the outer rows.
