Abstract:
A method for generating an indoor map of any one floor in a building by using a GPS receiver and CAD software is provided. The method comprises the steps of: preparing a CAD drawing including a floor plan for any one floor of a building in a local coordinate system having units of distance; setting the reference point and reference line, which are fixed relative to the building; determining the coordinates of the reference point and the direction of the reference line in a plane rectangular coordinate system by using a GPS receiver; transforming the local coordinate system of the CAD drawing into the plane rectangular coordinate system by using the determined coordinates of the reference point and the determined direction of the reference line; and transforming the coordinates on the floor plan from the coordinates of the plane rectangular coordinate system into coordinates of a geographic coordinate system.
