An indoor unit, comprising a housing, an air outlet, an indoor heat exchanger and a blocking component. The housing comprises an upper cover plate and a bottom plate which are arranged opposite to each other, and a first side plate connected to the upper cover plate and the bottom plate; the air outlet is disposed on the first side plate; the indoor heat exchanger is located inside the housing, the extension direction of the indoor heat exchanger is parallel to the extension direction of the air outlet, and the length of the indoor heat exchanger is less than the length of the air outlet; a first end of the indoor heat exchanger and a first end of the air outlet are located on the same side, a second end of the indoor heat exchanger and a second end of the air outlet are located on the same side, and there is a relief space between the first end of the indoor heat exchanger and the first end of the air outlet; and the blocking component is connected to the first end of the indoor heat exchanger and the first end of the air outlet so as to block the relief space to prevent same from being exposed.
